Dear WordPress,
I am using your iPad application right now to update my blog. I am not breaking up with you, but I wanted to let you know that I am keeping my eyes open for something better while I hope you improve.
Back when we were together on the iPhone it was OK. I understood your limitations and I was working with them. I didn’t blame you. I knew that when we wanted quality time together we had to go back to my laptop.
Things have changed and it is time we accept the reality. I don’t want to hurt your feelings, but it would be wrong of me to lie to you and say that everything was OK. Apple was really nice to offer us a new place and you were really kind in accepting that offer. It is just so sad to know your potential, but see the reality.
You should have a visual editor just like your web counterpart. You should have a dashboard. You should let me format my text as I type. You should let me easily block quote. You should let me edit the post URL.
When it comes down to it, all I’m asking for is what I know you can already do.
Take this letter to be motivation to be better rather than letter to let your tears of disappointment fall upon.
